Its a fascinating story of a young girl from Broken Hill, after her entire town had raised funds to get her there, to her making her debut for the Saddlers Wells Opera Company in London in Marriage of Figaro" to becoming an overnight sensation for her portrayal as "Maria in the Sound Of Music" on Londons Westend and subsequently then triumphantly in Australia. But thats not all... her hilarious portrayal as Mrs Slocom in the Australian television version of "Are You Being Served" or clashing swords with Jon English in the Broadway version of 'The Pirates of Penzance'. Performing in this show will be two collaratura Sopranos...One Young June and one Older June" combined with Narration by Chris McKenna and Musical Direction by David Cameron
